Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band is a big ol’ slice of downhome. Their latest album, The Wages, is busting at the seams with tales of life, love, and struggle in the American midwest. The Big Damn Band proudly pays tribute to their home state of Indiana with references to places such as the Fort Wayne Zoo and Lick Creek Road.

The song, “Everything’s Raising”, is an anthem of the American worker, and a commentary on the harsh economic times be-setting their home state of Indiana. Somehow, they were able to take this bleak situation and turn it into a knee-slapping, foot-stomping, big-grin of a time.
